It's been a minute since my last post and so many things have happened. Alex McKenna & The Geranium Deaths won the Gold Medal for Young Adult, Paranormal in the Readers' Favorite Book Awards contest, I had a cover release for the upcoming, Alex McKenna & The Academy of Souls, we visited our kids and grandson in Oregon and our youngest child and their wife flew up from Texas so we could celebrate our 40th wedding anniversay with our family.
The new house is lovely, I'm so happy we're living in Green Valley. I've always dreamed of owning a home here and this is amazing. Today I was feeling Autumn even if it is 100° in the desert, so I decided to decorate my altar a bit. Not much, just a vine of leaves but it made me smile. The witch in me longs to see the colors of the season in all their bright orange and gold glory but since this is not the way of the desert, I decided creating it
for myself is the best way to embrace my inner Fall. I think my mom and the grams are loving it...how about you?
